stores that sell Ali Gilmore's Piece of Cake CDIt took four years to get back to it, but I did it.  I finally recorded my first full length CD. It has been a great collaboration with talents I’ve met along the way as well as a reunion with those who’ve been there from the beginning.  We involved thousands of fans on facebook and let them choose the title of the CD by popular vote.  The clear winner was: Piece of Cake.  Then, I gave the lyrics and a rough draft of the song to a local artist/friend who gave her interpretation through water color and voila, we had a CD cover.

The goal was to record 10 songs (of the 20-something yet to be recorded), plus a bonus track for pre-release investors.  Click on the title to see the lyrics and the audio file to hear each song it its entirety.

Boomerang is the title track of Ali’s  first, 6 song CD.  As an homage to the long road from the Boomerang CD in 2009 to her first full length CD in 2014, Ali collaborated with two artists/friends, who are of different styles, but similar mindsets, to create a knock out remix for the limited edition version of the CD.  The remix retains the original vocals of  Ali Gilmore, Carrie Welsh as well as Ned Giblin on guitar, then adds David Sias (of the band Barnwell Shift) on Didgeridoo and hip hop artist Sum1 on additional vocals.

The public version was released in April, 2014, available for download on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Rhapsody and Spotify.  The limited edition CD with bonus track  has only 1,000 copies in print and is only available for purchase through this website.
